Marie-Jeanne Kersaho, a female sailor from the island of Groix, spent her life at sea. Marta, the lady with the books, brought books to the most remote and disadvantaged families in the rugged Appalachian Mountains in the United States, whatever the weather.

In La Fille courageuse, the two actresses recount, sing and set sail with poetry on what inspires them: freedom, emancipation, beauty and audacity. They transport us on gentle melodies between two continents.
